Matt Sweeney
Matt Sweeney is a Partner at Eris specializing in robotics and artificial intelligence. Matt was the co-founder of Uber’s Self-Driving Vehicles Group, and was involved in the acquisition of the core robotics teams and development of the group's robotaxi strategy. While at Uber, he was also head of the Applied Math Team and ran engineering teams responsible for carpooling, dynamic pricing, arrival time estimation, routing, and supply positioning systems. After Uber, Matt was a member of the technical staff at Neuralink. Matt currently serves on the Boards of Skyways and Building Machines.

Joe Sullivan
Joe Sullivan is a former federal prosecutor, former three-time Chief Security Officer, and one of the most well-known cybersecurity experts in the world.

Joe joined Facebook in 2008 when it was smaller than MySpace, and over almost seven years helped take the company public and build their security from a handful to hundreds before becoming the first Chief Security Officer at Uber where he again built a security team from a handful to hundreds. In 2018 Joe joined Cloudflare when it was a small startup and spent four years building their security organization and helping take that company public.

Joe has been a senior advisor to many companies over the years ranging from AirBnB to DoorDash to Whoop, has testified before the US Congress twice, and has appeared before many other government bodies around the world. He’s served many volunteer government roles in safety and security contexts, including in 2016 serving an appointment from President Obama to the independent, bipartisan Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity, that prepared cybersecurity recommendations for President Trump’s incoming administration.

Ryan McKillen is a Partner at Eris and an experienced angel investor who has participated in nearly 100 transactions. Ryan joined Uber in 2010 as an engineer and employee #3, later moving into a Director role where he helped to scale the engineering team to 5,000+ employees. He was the first investor in Chronosphere which achieved unicorn status in just over two years. Ryan is Co-owner and Chairman of the United States SailGP team, and serves on the boards of Chronosphere, Volley Automation and a number of other technology companies.
